Trucks loaded with rolls of unfinished white cloth drove into the factory area. The production workshop buzzed with the sound of machinery, and employees bustled along the production lines…Shaoxing Yongtong Printing and Dyeing Co., Ltd., which had just resumed production after the Spring Festival holiday, was a busy scene. General Manager Zhang Jianmu told reporters that an old customer had just placed a large order for 58 containers, and the company's orders were scheduled until the end of March. "Eight production lines are operating today, and we expect to resume full production next week."
At the same time that the machines started up, data reports on daily energy consumption, machine output, and dye usage were placed on Zhang Jianmu's desk one by one. "The company has been using data-driven management for more than 10 years, and energy consumption and cost control are becoming increasingly refined. Last year, under the same conditions, daily production capacity increased by about 160,000 meters compared to the previous year." Zhang Jianmu said, "Yongtong's" goal this year is to achieve sales of 700 million yuan, an increase of more than 20% year-on-year. To this end, they have partnered with Xi'an University of Technology to tailor a digital management system for the enterprise to improve production efficiency.

Zhejiang Baofang Printing and Dyeing Co., Ltd. also included digital upgrades in its goals for this year. "Baofang Printing and Dyeing" currently has an employee attendance rate of over 90%, production lines have basically resumed normal production, and are working hard to deliver more than 400 containers of orders on schedule. "Thanks to the intelligent transformation in the past two years, annual production capacity has increased by 1.5 times; otherwise, the company would not be able to take on so many orders." The company's person in charge said that in the past three years, "Baofang Printing and Dyeing" has invested a total of 200 million yuan to complete the replacement of all equipment, not only increasing production capacity but also reducing energy consumption by 50%. "This year, the company plans to introduce a big data platform to further increase production capacity and reduce costs."
Reporters learned from Ma'an Street, Keqiao District, that Keqiao printing and dyeing enterprises are accelerating the resumption of work and production, striving for a "good start" in the first quarter. As of now, the resumption rate of 109 printing and dyeing enterprises has reached 100%. In the process of resuming work, the two terms "intelligence" and "digitalization" are increasingly mentioned and valued by enterprises.
After years of continuous transformation and upgrading, Keqiao's printing and dyeing entrepreneurs are now increasingly confident in intelligent transformation and digital upgrading." A relevant person in charge of the Keqiao District Economic and Information Bureau told reporters that since 2010, Keqiao District has launched a plan to improve the printing and dyeing industry cluster, integrating 212 printing and dyeing enterprises scattered throughout the district into 109, all concentrated in Ma'an, with a high-end equipment penetration rate of over 60%, and achieving an increase of more than 15% in the added value per meter of dyed fabric. In 2019, Keqiao District launched a second round of transformation and upgrading, implementing a three-year action plan for intelligent transformation of the textile and dyeing industry. By the end of last year, 148 out of 210 key textile and dyeing enterprises in the district had completed intelligent transformation.
New year, new atmosphere, new plan for the opening. "This year, Keqiao will continue to promote the intelligent transformation of the remaining 62 textile and dyeing enterprises, and create more high-standard intelligent factories like the Yingfeng Technology intelligent green printing and dyeing workshop, leading enterprises in the district to promote intelligent transformation and promoting the high-quality development of Keqiao's manufacturing industry." The person in charge said. Next, the Keqiao District Economic and Information Bureau will rely on professional digital and intelligent service institutions to conduct "one-on-one" home visits and consultations for textile and dyeing enterprises.
Under the impact of the global COVID-19 pandemic, the garment industry in India and Southeast Asian countries has been severely affected, with some orders shifting to China. The phenomenon of textile orders returning to China against the current has become a hot topic in the industry.
At the 2020 China International Textile Machinery Exhibition and ITMA Asia Exhibition, Guangzhou Hongjing Lab Equipment Co., LTD, as a pioneer in intelligent manufacturing dyeing and finishing laboratories in China, showcased its latest intelligent integrated laboratory concept!
The Xida Xing Hongjing dyeing and finishing standard laboratory's overall design adopts a one-stop design for dyeing and finishing laboratories, divided into different functional areas: color measurement and matching area, light box color matching area, cloth cutting area, gray cloth preparation area, fabric opening area, dripping area, manual dripping area, sample dyeing area, reproduction area, and finishing area. Each area is equipped with dyeing and printing experimental equipment independently researched and developed by Hongjing, perfectly matching the laboratory's sample making and reproduction process.
In the first two months of this year, against the backdrop of the low base effect caused by the epidemic in the same period last year, China's total goods trade exports and textile and garment exports both achieved high-speed growth of over 40%. Cumulative exports of textiles and garments reached 301.36 billion yuan, an increase of 44.7%, with textile exports reaching 144.44 billion yuan, an increase of 50.2%, and garment exports reaching 156.92 billion yuan, an increase of 40.0%.
